Making Europe climate-neutral and protecting our habitat will have a good impact on our planet and economy. This is what the EU seeks with the European Green Deal. Its aim is to make Europe climate-neutral by 2050 and cut pollution, while helping companies complete this transitions as well.
To achieve this, the commission proposes a law that requires the decarbonation of the energy sector (as the 75% of the Eu’s greenhouse gas emissions are due to the production and use of energy), the renovation of buildings (to help cut this energy use), the support towards the industry to become global leaders in green economy, and the use of cleaner, cheaper and healthier forms of transport.
